My stay in Hotel Eve last year at Cap d'Agde
Hotel Eve Last year
Very much enjoyed my stay, at Hotel Eve, last year, during the
last week of the shoulder season, (30th May - 2nd June). Came from
Paris, where I had visited my daughter, by train. Found myself
standing outside the Agde Railway Station with no idea of whether
there would be a bus or a taxi. Fortunately, one came along and shared
it with two other passengers.
I enjoyed the simple pleasures of staying in the hotel and walking to
the beach each day.
Friends of mine (Here, in Sydney) had been going to Cap d'Agde for
many years. Through them I met a lovely American couple who held a
welcome to Cap d'Agde Party (which they do often). There I met Dutch
couples. (I was born in Holland). It was good to know some people, to
say hello to and visit.
Coming back to Sydney, my friend here, chided me for seeing so very little of the complex but that was all I wanted and gives me more to explore if / when I go again. He was president of the Free Beach Association of NSW, which is now disbanded) is going again next month to stay with friends from Switzerland, who have an apartment there.
