How to Get a Job in Cap d’Agde Resort

Apart from asking where to stay in the resort, a very common question that I get emails about is people asking how to get a job in the resort.

So, first, to explain the resort conditions to you.

The Season

The season generally runs for the most part, from May through to the end of September, and thus the season is limited and not all year round.

Any work you do manage to get at the resort will be very much seasonal.

Factors in Finding a Job

There are difficulties in finding work in the resort, and there are reasons for this.

1. Getting work with a job at the naturism resort is not easy, and many of the bars, restaurants, shops, and accommodations tend to hire many of the same people from season to season.

2. You would also for many jobs, need to speak French and English.

3. A lot of the businesses are privately run, and the staff are often the owners and so they have no need to hire anyone.

4. French businesses have a tendency to only hire French workers if they can, i.e., they tend to hire a smaller percentage of non-French workers than you would see in other countries.

Getting a job, to be quite honest, is difficult, and opportunities are hard to find.
